Welcome to my practice.

My journey to physical therapy was anything but conventional…

Before pursuing my dream of becoming a physical therapist, I had a long and successful career in finance.  I was desk bound working long hours and then went “all out” in typical weekend-warrior fashion which led to a cycle of injury and recovery. Yet, no matter the situation, life kept reminding me of the transformative power of movement, the miracle of the human body and the importance of mind-set to drive change. Movement was my lifeline. It gave me strength, lifted me out of life’s trenches and sharpened my focus. It was not just exercise—it was my therapy and ticket to thrive. When I made the decision to redirect my life’s purpose to becoming a Physical Therapist it was fueled by the desire to harness “all that” and help others find their inner natural remedy to recover from injury, return to what they love and live their best life.

My goal is to empower you with the tools and ignite the confidence to take charge of your recovery and chart your path to thriving.

Originally from Egypt, I moved to NY two decades ago. I live in the beautiful town of East Hampton, adorned by the water, nature and an amazing community. When I am not working, I love being outside, rain or shine, and I am usually on the water SUP training or just admiring nature’s beauty. I also love kitesurfing where the windier and more remote the setting the better. When indoors, I love cooking for friends and creating memories around a dinner table.

Prior to my receiving my Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy, I earned an MBA from McGill University and a BSc. in Construction Engineering from the American University in Cairo. I have also completed my Advanced P2 Schroth Method Certification and am passionate about helping those with spinal problems across the lifespan. My Pilates training is a perfect complement and modality for rehabilitation and treatment across a spectrum of patient presentations and for spine-related problems in particular.
